Carbonchange is a Norwegian technology company that connects modern data-center infrastructure with real-world energy needs. Where others see waste heat, we see a resource — a clean, stable and predictable heat source that can replace traditional boilers, cut emissions and lower energy bills. We do this by enabling data-center capacity to be placed close to the buildings, industries and cities that need heat. Our partners handle the data centers themselves; Carbonchange delivers the thermal integration, the control systems and the value chain that turns every kilowatt-hour into two outcomes:

Most electricity entering a data center becomes heat. Traditionally, that heat is wasted. Our job is to make sure it isn’t.

We bring the datacenter to you

Carbonchange integrates modular heat-recovery systems with modern cooling technology, capturing heat up to 70–80°C and delivering it directly into:

  • commercial buildings

  • district heating systems

  • smolt & aquaculture facilities

  • food processing and light industry

Whether the project is 100.000 kW or several megawatts, our solutions are built to be installed quickly, monitored digitally and operated with minimal complexity.

 

We are the enabler - Our partners build and operate the data centers. Carbonchange delivers the heat-recovery modules, the hydraulic loop, interconnection to buildings or district heating and monitoring and optimization of the thermal side. This gives end-users the experience of “a data center on site” — without needing to understand or operate one.

Computational Heat

Turning data-center heat into clean building energy.

Our core concept deliver 60–80°C heat directly into a building’s existing waterborne system. This replaces electric or gas boilers, lowers energy bills and brings emissions to zero. For many buildings, this is the single most impactful energy measure available today.

Computational District Heat

Short pipe. High uptime. Ready for the return line.

In many Norwegian cities, the district-heating return line runs just a few hundred meters away from potential sites. Carbonchange delivers a plug-and-play package that feeds stable, low-temperature baseload heat straight into the network. One megawatt of computing becomes roughly one megawatt of thermal energy — predictable, metered and commercially viable.

For industry that runs on 110–200°C.

 

Europe runs on steam — dairies, breweries, seafood, textiles, pharmaceuticals.
By upgrading data-center heat, we can deliver industrial steam and cooling from the same cycle. This is a scalable, low-emission alternative to gas and electric boilers, with a massive market potential.
